Change of venue and date (and cost) When: Friday 7th February to Monday 10th February 2025 (3 nights) Where: Two Sides Cottage, Brook Hill, South Baddesley, Lymington, SO41 5RP Description: We’ve had a major re-think on our New Forest weekend away. Firstly, please note the change of dates, to earlier in February. Secondly, the luxurious accommodation: Rather than a large (perhaps draughty?) barn designed for school parties in which we were likely to rattle and feel the cold, we’ve come up with something a little more up-market in the Southern New Forest, perfect for a memorable and comfortable weekend away. We have found an affordable, spacious holiday home that boasts a comfortable lounge (with a fireplace), large dining table, fully equipped kitchen, five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Towels and bed linen are included. There is also a large garden and private parking. We can walk directly from the house (it’s too big to call a cottage!) down to Buckler’s Hard on the coast on one day, and a short drive will take us into the heart of the New Forest for a second full day’s walk. The walks are currently being planned, but if you know of something special that you think people would really enjoy then please let us know.. Alternatively, feel free to bring your mountain bike if you wanted to do something different, or there are other options such as the Beaulieu Motor Museum within striking distance.
