Evening Walk – Bramber and River AdurWednesday 2nd July 2025This is a walk with lots of interest and stunning views across the Adur valley to the South Downs. The walk is just under 6 miles and very flat (unless we chose to return via the Downslink, when we will encounter a very short incline). It should take should take about three hours; we will have a short stop at the halfway point so that you can have a snack / packed tea and we will call in at the pub at the end on the way back to the cars. Please be ready to set off at 18.30 prompt. Please bring a packed tea. We will be parking at the castle; if you happen to arrive early then the castle is well worth a look round (and is free to enter) There are buses to Bramber (a number 2 I believe) Please email me with a contact phone number if you plan to attend. Please also let me know if you would need a lift or would be able to offer a lift. If you have a dog you are welcome to bring him / her but don’t forget a lead and a towel (if they like swimming!)
