Meet at the lay-by outside St Marys Church on the B2036 London Road, Balcombe at 10am for a 10:15 Start.

We will head east toward Balcombe lake and skirt Wakehurst place the royal Botanic gardens, turning south toward Ardingly village and the reservoir around lunch time. We continue on the Ouse valley way and under the magnificent rail Viaduct before turning north via Upper Pilstye back towards Balcombe village where there is a good Pub the half moon for refreshment if you wish.

It’s a fairly hilly route and sections can be muddy during wet weather.

Please bring a picnic and flask.
