Friday 6th - Sunday 8th October
Brecon Beacons, Wales
Weekend Trip

Come and join us for some lovely Autumn walking in the Cynon Valley on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Our accommodation will be the comfortable Tyle Morgrug Bunkhouse built originally in the 1840's as a hill farm and set in the Welsh Valleys. The facilities are excellent - after a day in the hills you can't beat a hot shower and a slump on the settee in front of the cosy wood burner. The bunkhouse is also centrally heated and double glazed, has a drying room, and an area for washing muddy kit.

Excellent walks can be done from the bunkhouse including riverside and waterfall walks, gorges, perhaps explore a cave, or tramp into the Black Mountains. We are already familiar with the area having been to this accommodation previously. If you have any walking destinations that you would like to see included we will try to accommodate you; please let the organiser know. There will be a full day walk on the Saturday and at least a half day walk on the Sunday. The bunkhouse location on the southern edge of the Beacons makes for good journey times, approx 3.5 to 4 hours.

Approx cost will be £85 to include shared transport, 1x evening meal, 2x breakfasts. Independent travellers pay approx £45.
Deposit £30 to the organiser by 1 August 2017 please.
