Thursday 23rd - Sunday 26 March
White Peak, Peak District
Weekend Trip

We will offer three days walking in the White Peak area of Derbyshire which has a stunning and varied landscape. The White Peak is known for its gently rolling limestone plateau, dissected by limestone dales. In many places the dales are steep-sided and contrast sharply with the plateau land above, whilst in other places the plateau grades more gently into shallow dales.

We’ll be staying in high quality accommodation located in an 18th century stable block which originally formed part of the Ilam Hall Estate. The estate is now managed by the National Trust and the bunkhouse sits within the grounds just north of Ashbourne. The club have exclusive use of the accommodation & will offer the Merry meals rotas for catering. Walks will be organised to offer a range abilities and varied walking taking in the best of Lathkill dale, Bradford dale, Manifold valley & Dovedale.
