Day Walk
Start: Hesworth Common car park, Fittleworth - entrance to car park is off the B2138 just before the junction with the A283.
Meet time: 09:30 for 9:45 start.
Walk distance: approx 9 1/4 miles (15km).
Approx finish time: 15:00.
We will head west across Hesworth Common towards the outskirts of Petworth via Haslingbourne. After crossing the A283 we’ll lunch on the hill overlooking Petworth before picking up the Serpent Trail through Flexham Park and skirting the Bognor Common sand pit to return back down to Fittleworth and the car park.
